Morocco, Eastern Europe or farshore: compare delivery constraints

For European product teams, Morocco, Eastern Europe and more distant delivery locations can be compared through collaboration requirements. Geography affects some constraints, but the proposed team determines the working arrangement. Ask for evidence of staffing, communication and delivery rather than relying on a broad regional claim.

List the constraints that affect your work

Identify workshops, business decisions and operational incidents that need a timely response. Separate them from tasks that can move forward with documented requirements and scheduled review.

A product with unresolved business rules needs a different rhythm from a maintained application with clear interfaces. Describe that rhythm before asking for a country recommendation.

Use a common comparison sheet

ConstraintEvidence to request
Working hoursActual overlap and calendar
CommunicationNamed people and working language
Product contextQuestions on a representative case
QualityReview and acceptance evidence
ContinuityReplacement and knowledge-transfer process
Data accessRecipients and permitted environments

Compare total responsibility

A regional hourly-rate range does not identify what an offer includes. Ask whether coordination, testing and operating support are included in capacity or priced separately.

Estimate the internal work each arrangement requires. A team that needs daily guidance may be appropriate if you have that capacity. A more autonomous scope requires clear boundaries and a way to verify its results.

Make the shortlist conditional

Record which requirements are demonstrated and which remain assumptions. Use a bounded engagement to examine delivery behavior where appropriate.

Avoid treating proximity as proof of language, quality or legal arrangements. Verify those properties with the selected supplier. Revisit the comparison if the product introduces more workshops, sensitive data or operational responsibilities.
