Possessing source code does not give your company control of its hosting or publication accounts. Include those accounts in the recovery scope.
Identify actual ownership
Review billing contacts, administrators and recovery methods. Some services may sit under a supplier's organization. Establish authorized transfer procedures with each provider.
Verify usable access
The incoming team should test the permitted deployment path. Check dependencies on personal accounts and privately published packages. Record missing access separately from code defects.
Accept a complete handover
Ask for account ownership evidence and a demonstrated release into a suitable environment. Assign ongoing administration internally. A supplier's successful demonstration from its own account does not prove that your business can operate independently after the engagement ends.
