Users want to ask questions about operational data. A model-generated query should not receive unrestricted execution rights.
Define allowed questions
Identify tables and approved business measures. Use a controlled service with limited operations and the requester's permissions. Evaluate whether predefined query tools meet the task.
Test boundaries
Include attempts to access another customer's data and expensive or unsupported requests. Query validation and resource limits belong in application controls.
Review results
Check calculated values against known references. Display the period and filters used. Ask the supplier for execution traces without unnecessary sensitive content. A fluent explanation cannot establish that the query matched the business definition or respected every data boundary.
